By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using HVAC Pro Vault, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and able to form a binding contract. The Service is intended for HVAC professionals, apprentices, and students. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and employer policies.

• You must provide accurate information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• Accounts are for individual use. Do not share, sell, or transfer your account.
• Notify us promptly at jownahlabssupport@gmail.com of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, or publicly post course content, diagrams, or exam material.
• Circumvent paywalls, plan limits, rate limits, or any access control.
• Reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or harmful content.
• Use the Service to violate any law, code requirement, or third-party right.

You retain ownership of content you submit, including AI prompts, uploaded images, and notes. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you, including sending it to our AI provider to generate a response. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

All courses, lessons, wiring diagrams, troubleshooting trees, exam banks, calculators, software, branding, and other materials in HVAC Pro Vault are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. While your account is in good standing, we grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access the materials for your own professional learning and reference. No other rights are granted.

The AI assistant produces machine-generated output that can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. It is not professional, safety, engineering, electrical, or legal advice. Always verify against manufacturer specifications, OEM service literature, EPA regulations, and local code, and follow proper lockout/tagout and safety procedures. You are solely responsible for the work you perform in the field.

The Service depends on third-party providers, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage, Apple (and later Google Play) for in-app subscription billing, Lovable for hosting and AI gateway infrastructure, and a Google Gemini model for AI responses. If subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play in a future release, that billing will additionally be governed by Apple's or Google's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and links or references to third-party materials are provided for convenience only.

Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until canceled. Full details, including current plan pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling, are in the Subscription Terms, which are incorporated into these Terms.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your license to the materials ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

HVAC Pro Vault provides educational, informational, troubleshooting, and AI-assisted information. We do not guarantee that AI-generated or troubleshooting information will always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every equipment configuration. You remain responsible for following manufacturer instructions, applicable electrical and mechanical codes, proper safety procedures, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment, and for verifying equipment specifications and applying professional judgment. HVAC Pro Vault and Jownah Labs do not replace required professional training, licensing, certification, manufacturer documentation, or applicable safety procedures.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Training content, calculators, diagrams, and exam material are educational references and do not guarantee certification results, exam outcomes, or job performance.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, EQUIPMENT DAMAGE, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be communicated in the App or by email and reflected in the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
